FAQ

Binders & Usage

Unlike a regular t-shirt, do not pull it down over your head! The easiest way is to step into it like a pair of shorts and pull it up to your chest. Adjust your chest tissue by pushing it towards your armpits for the flattest, most comfortable look.

We recommend wearing your binder for no more than 8 hours a day. Listen to your body—if you feel pain or difficulty breathing, take a break. Never sleep in your binder.

Yes! Our binders are designed with sportswear materials (Spandex/Rubber Thread) to be breathable and move with you. However, we recommend sizing up one size for swimming or intense gym sessions to ensure full lung capacity.

Everyone! While we are proudly rooted in the LGBTQ+ community, our gear is for all genders. Whether you are trans, non-binary, or a cisgender person looking for a specific silhouette or compression support, F-MAX is for you.

Product Care

To preserve the elasticity of the heavy-duty rubber thread, we highly recommend hand washing your binder in cold water with a mild detergent. Gently squeeze out the water—do not wring or twist it hard.

If you must use a machine, place the binder inside a laundry mesh bag to protect it from snagging. Use the delicate cycle with cold water. Never wash it with rough items like denim or velcro.

No. Heat is the enemy of spandex and rubber thread! High heat will break down the elastics and cause the binder to lose its compression power. Always air dry your binder by laying it flat or hanging it up in a shaded area.

No. Bleach weakens the fabric, and fabric softener coats the fibers, making the binder slippery and less breathable. Stick to standard mild laundry detergent.

Sizing & Fit

Take a measuring tape and wrap it around the fullest part of your chest (usually across the nipples). Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight. Breathe normally—do not hold your breath. Compare this measurement to our Size Chart.

We always recommend sizing up. A tighter binder does not equal a flatter chest; it often causes rolling, discomfort, and breathing issues. A size up will still compress effectively while keeping you safe.

Kinesiology Tape (Boob Tape/Muscle Tape)

Proper preparation is key for the tape to stick. Make sure to clean and dry your chest thoroughly before application to remove any oils or lotions.

method for the best support:

  • Cut: Prepare 4-6 strips of tape, each about 10-12 inches long.

  • Base Layer: Place the first strip horizontally just below your chest (across the ribcage) without stretching it.

  • Lift & Flatten: Apply vertical strips starting from the outer chest up to the collarbone. Stretch these strips only 25-50%—do not overstretch!.

  • Secure: Rub the tape briskly after applying to activate the adhesive and ensure it sticks well.

Never rip the tape off dry! Remove the tape gently, using baby oil to dissolve the adhesive if needed.

This method is intended to be temporary. For long-term daily use, we recommend alternating with a proper chest binder to give your skin a rest.
